In 2026, need-based scholarships are available at three levels, each requiring volunteer hours at Capital Christian Center where you or your student will build tangible skills through service in ministry. After you complete your Student Enrollment form, a member of our finance office will reach out to make payment arrangements, or assist with arranging your scholarship service.

Volunteers

The true impact of one person can’t be measured but the absence of one can. Each year, we welcome students of all ages and all walks of life. Some from stable homes, others who have come from hard places. Our goal is simple: show them what a safe, loving environment looks like and help them to learn how to live their life on a mission.

As you can imagine, that takes an army of volunteers who are willing to show up for these kids. People who understand what it was like growing up and navigating this world. People who can show them how to have fun without compromising their values. People who are willing to listen to them and let them know someone cares.

Perhaps you had someone who was there for you when you were growing up and you understand how valuable that was to you. Maybe you didn’t but believed it would have made a difference for you. Either way, you probably understood the power of a strong mentor in a young person’s life. We’d love to talk to you about how you can be there for one of our students. There are many opportunities to get involved.

SRR Pledge

Our heart is that finances would not prohibit any student from the opportunity to attend a life-changing week at Solid Rock Ranch. Our pledge to families is that we will work with families to find a payment plan that works for your family and offer scholarship to those who qualify.

Thanks to the generous support of our congregation and the community, we’ve never turned a child away for financial reasons!

Programs

1). Vacation Bible School - Tailored toward our youngest Ranchers, our Monday-Thursday program features activities such as crafts, recreational activities, and small group discipleship time. Students will meet at Capital Christian Center for a half-day morning program.

2). Overnight Program - Our overnight Ranch program is divided by age groups – PreTeen (4th & 5th Grade), Middle School (6th - 8th Grade), and High School (9th – 12th Grade) – each with ministry program and activities tailored to student’s unique needs. Activities may include crafts, sports, paintball, rock climbing, lake day, and campfire time, each activity is geared toward growing mentorship relationships that foster learning and growth in student’s individual walk with God. Whether you are learning about God for the first time, dedicating your life to Jesus, or ready to profess your faith through water baptism, our counselors and staff are ready to answer your tough questions, guide meaningful conversation, and support your student to a beautiful solid rock foundation in Christ.

More Information

Solid Rock Ranch provides an amazing opportunity for students, and volunteers, to experience life changing encounters with God, and to build bonds which will last a lifetime.

It is our top priority to provide a safe, and welcoming environment for both students and volunteers. To ensure our team is prepared to work with your students, all volunteers are required to complete basic training which covers our safety and security policies, working with difficult situations and spiritual formation. Depending on their role they may be required to provide additional certifications like First Aid/CPR, Food Handlers Permit, medical, etc.

SPONSOR A STUDENT

Since our first overnight experience in 1995, we have never turned a student away for financial reasons. Thousands of students have been blessed by community members who wanted to see lives changed, families impacted, and spiritual seeds, that last a lifetime, planted. Every student sponsored represents a family, a community and a school that is impacted.

When you donate to our scholarship program, you help us provide the space and resources needed to give students a safe, healthy experience where they have fun without compromising their values. For many students, this is their most stable, consistent and loving week of the year.

Thank you for making an impact on the next generation. Without your support, we would not be able to open our doors to so many.

In order to offer scholarships to each student in need, we aim to raise $25,000. Any amount donated helps us reach our goal and assists in providing a life changing experience to a student in need.
